Planet Protector is a fast side-scrolling space shooter set above a green, hilly planet that loops around forever. Ten small humans walk on the surface, and alien landers drop from the sky to grab them. If a lander reaches the top with its captive, it turns into a faster, more dangerous mutant. Your fighter has a rapid laser, a few smart bombs and a risky hyperspace jump. Frank Force made it with the LittleJS engine, drawing every sprite in code.
How to Play Planet Protector
Fly left or right across the world and shoot every lander before it can abduct someone. The radar strip at the top shows the whole map, so you can spot trouble far away. When you shoot a lander that is carrying a human, you earn a 500-point bonus and the person starts to fall. A fall from high up is fatal, so swoop under them and catch them. Carry them down to the ground for another 500 points.
A wave ends when all landers and mutants are gone. You then earn 100 points times the wave number for every human still alive. From wave 2, slow purple drifters show up that burst into four small chasers when hit. From wave 3, bombers leave floating mines in the air. If a wave drags on, a quick white hunter starts chasing you.
You have three ships. Touching an enemy, a mine or a shot costs one, and the game ends when the last is lost.

Strategy Tips
- Read the radar first. Head for the spot where landers are closest to the ground, since those are about to grab someone.
- Hit landers on the way down. Shooting one before it picks up a human saves you a risky rescue.
- Fly low for catches. A human falling from near the ground lands safely on their own, but from high up you must catch them.
- Turn to fire behind you. Your laser only shoots the way the ship faces, so tap the opposite direction to aim back.
- Save smart bombs for crowds. One bomb destroys everything on screen and clears enemy shots, which is perfect when the small chasers swarm you.
- Finish waves quickly. The longer a wave lasts, the more of the fast white hunters you will face.
