Brick Smash is a paddle-and-ball game with five brick layouts and a set of power-ups you can see coming. Some bricks wear a colored frame and a small icon, and breaking one drops that exact power, such as a laser or a sticky paddle. You plan your shots around them instead of hoping for luck. After the fifth layout, the run loops back to the first one with a faster ball. The game comes from Frank Force’s LittleJS Arcade.
How to Play Brick Smash
Press PLAY, then click, tap or press Space to launch the ball from your paddle. The ball bounces off the walls and ceiling, and each brick it hits breaks. Where the ball meets your paddle sets its new angle, so hitting it near an edge sends it off to the side.
A normal brick is worth 100 points and a two-hit brick 200, multiplied by your current combo. You start with 3 lives. Letting every ball fall costs one life and also removes any active powers and extra paddle width.
The five layouts are a solid wall, a pyramid, a castle with gray walls, a checkerboard of normal and two-hit bricks, and a mixed maze that is built fresh each time you reach it. Clearing all breakable bricks moves you on. When you finish the fifth, the wave number goes up and the ball gets ten percent faster.

Tips and Strategies
- Aim for the framed bricks early. Their icons tell you what will drop, so pick the power you need right now.
- Stack the wide paddle. Each wide pickup adds width, and it stays through new layouts until you lose a life.
- Get above the bricks. Once the ball slips through a gap, it bounces along the top and builds a big combo.
- Use the laser on two-hit bricks. Each click fires a pair of shots, so you can clear a checkerboard row without risking the ball.
- Save fireball time for dense areas. For eight seconds the ball cuts through normal and two-hit bricks without bouncing.
- Catch the heart. The rare heart pickup gives you an extra life.
