Factors Game is a short math puzzle about one number and a 4x4 grid of tiles from 1 to 16. You steer your number down the grid one row at a time. When it lands on a factor, it gets divided. When it lands on anything else, that tile is added on. Your aim is to finish on exactly 1. There are 256 levels, and each one starts with your number equal to the level number, so the arithmetic gets harder as you climb.
How to Play Factors Game
Your number sits in a colored square above the grid. Move it left or right to line it up with a column, then drop it into the next row. The tile under it decides what happens. If the tile divides your number evenly, your number shrinks to the result. If not, the tile’s value is added.
Each level has four rows, so you get at most four moves. The level ends early the moment your number becomes 1. When it ends, you see a grade: “ACE!” for a 1, “LOW!” for an end number under 10, and “High” for anything bigger. Your overall score is the average end number across all finished levels, shown at the top of the board. Finishing a level unlocks the next one. You can go back to any unlocked level from the level select screen, and your best run on each level is kept.

Tips and Strategies
- Plan the whole column path. Look two or three rows ahead before your first drop. A small addition now can set up a big division later.
- Use 1 as a free pass. The 1 tile always divides evenly and leaves your number unchanged, so it is a safe way to skip a row.
- Aim for prime factors last. If your number is 14, landing on 2 leaves 7, and a 7 below finishes the level in two moves.
- Restart instead of settling. Restarting a level is free, so try a different route if your first path ends high.
- Retry old levels. Since your average uses your best result on each level, turning an old “High” into an “ACE!” lowers it.
