Color Pour Sort is a liquid sorting puzzle with a clean, plain look. Each level gives you a row of glass tubes holding stacked bands of colored liquid, plus some free space. Pour from tube to tube until every color sits alone in its own tube. What sets this version apart is that the bands are not equal steps: a layer can be thin or thick, and a pour moves only as much as the target can hold. The game is Gedas-S’s open-source project “Be like water”.
How to Play Color Pour Sort
Select a tube and it lifts slightly. Then select a second tube to pour into it. Only the color on top moves, and it can go into an empty tube or onto the same color. If the colors differ, a “Cannot mix” note appears, and a full target shows “Bottle full”.
When a tube fills to the brim with one color, it gets a black cap and is done. You win the level once every tube is either capped or empty. A short cheer appears, and the next level slides in right away.
Levels are numbered and never run out. Level 1 has two colors and four tubes. The number of colors grows as the level number climbs, so later boards have more tubes and many thin layers. The menu lets you turn on dark mode, shrink the tubes, slow down or switch off the pour animation, switch between three level generators, or jump to any level.

Tips and Strategies
- Keep one tube empty for as long as you can. A spare tube is the only place you can park a color that does not match anything else.
- Mind the leftovers. A pour that does not fit leaves a sliver in the source tube, which can bury the color below it.
- Cap tubes early. A capped tube is locked and out of the way, so finishing one opens up room to think.
- Undo is free. Each pour can be taken back one at a time, so try a line of moves and rewind if it stalls.
- Restart twice to get back. After a restart with no new pours, pressing restart again brings back the tubes as they were before it.
Features
- Endless numbered levels: difficulty grows with the level number.
- Uneven layers: pours depend on free space, not on fixed slots.
- Saved progress: your level and current tubes stay in your browser.
- Settings page: dark mode, smaller tubes, animation speed and level jump.
- Fits any screen: tubes shrink so the whole level stays in view.
