Color Tile Match is a timed tile-swapping puzzle on an 8x8 board filled with six colors of rounded tiles. You trade the places of two neighbors to form a line of three or more of the same color, and the line clears away. Every match also refills a draining timer bar, so steady play keeps the round alive. This version, by Alexander Bazhanov, builds on Rembound’s open-source canvas tutorial and adds boosters, a color counter and a saved best score.
How to Play Color Tile Match
Pick any tile, then pick one of the four tiles that touch its sides. If the swap makes a row or column of three or more matching colors, those tiles vanish. The tiles above drop down to fill the gap, and new ones fall in from the top. A swap that makes no match slides back.
Each line scores the square of its length, so longer lines pay much better than short ones. The round starts with a two-minute timer bar. It drains every second, and it drains a bit faster as your score grows. Points you earn push the bar back up, but never past full.
The round ends when the bar runs out or when no swap can make a match. If you sit still for about 15 seconds, the game points out a move for you.

Tips and Strategies
- Work near the bottom. Low matches make the tiles above them fall, which often sets off free chain matches.
- Look for lines of four and five. A line of five is worth almost three times a line of three, and the bigger score buys more time.
- Save the bomb for crowded spots. It clears the selected tile and every tile around it, which can break up a board that has run out of easy moves.
- Aim the brush at a common color. The colored strip under the board shows the counts, so use the brush on the color with the highest number.
- Drop the wild tile where two colors meet. The palette tile matches any color, so placing it between two near-lines can finish both.
- Watch the magnifier badge. It counts the moves that exist right now, so a small number warns you of a dead end.
Features
- Three earnable boosters: a color-clearing brush, an area bomb and a wild tile, each tied to score milestones.
- Move counter: the magnifier badge shows the number of legal swaps on the board.
- Color statistics strip: a live count of every tile color under the board.
- Saved best score: your top result stays in browser storage.
- English and Russian text: switch with the language button at the bottom.
