Progress Knight is a text-based idle game about one person’s life in a medieval kingdom. You begin at age 14 as a beggar with no coins and a 70-year lifespan. Days tick by on their own, and your job pays you while your chosen skill gains xp in the background. The twist is that every life ends. When you get old, a strange amulet lets you start again with permanent xp bonuses, so each new life climbs higher and faster than the last.
How to Play Progress Knight
At any moment you hold one job and train one skill. Click a row to switch. Each level makes the next one cost more xp, and jobs pay a little more per level. New jobs unlock by reaching level 10 in the one before and by meeting skill targets. For example, Squire opens at Strength 5, and the mage school needs Concentration and Meditation at 200.
Your balance shows in c, s, g and p units, where 100 of one equals 1 of the next. Once you save enough, the Shop opens. Homes raise your happiness, which boosts all xp, and items like the Book or Dumbbells speed up certain skills. Every purchase has a daily cost. If your balance falls below zero, you lose them all.
The Amulet tab appears at 25. From 65 you can touch the eye to be reborn with a multiplier of 1 + max level / 10 on each job and skill. At age 200 a second choice lets you embrace evil, which resets everything but unlocks a set of dark magic skills.

Tips and Strategies
- Train Strength early. It opens the Military path at level 5 and is also required for Miner and Blacksmith.
- Buy the Book first. It is cheap and multiplies skill xp, so every later skill goes faster.
- Watch the Net/day line. Only add a new home or item when your income still covers it with room to spare.
- Do not rush the first rebirth. Max levels set your bonus, so a longer life with higher levels pays off in the next one.
- Mark skills to skip. With auto-learn on, tick Skip on skills you do not need so the automation trains the useful ones.
Features
- Three career paths: common work, the military ladder up to Legendary knight, and an arcane school that ends at Chairman.
- Two kinds of rebirth: a normal one for xp multipliers and an evil one that opens new skills.
- Automation: auto-promote and auto-learn unlock at age 20.
- Time warping: a magic skill that speeds up the game, with a button to turn it off.
- Save tools: automatic saving, export and import, a light or dark theme, and a hard reset.
