Unicorns Off My Lawn is a one-screen garden game made for the js13kGames 2026 contest. You play a leprechaun with three beds of rainbow flowers and a herd of big, clumsy unicorns that keep wandering in. They mean no harm, but every flower they step on is gone for the season. Pick the blooms first, steer the herd away, and save up enough color to paint a rainbow. The leprechaun walks rather than teleports, so where you send him is the real choice.
How to Play Unicorns Off My Lawn
Tap the lawn and the leprechaun runs there. Flowers grow from sprout to bud to a glowing bloom, and only blooms can be picked. Tap a bloom close to him, or walk him across it, to harvest it for coins and rainbow points.
Unicorns enter from the edges of the screen. When one stops with a thought bubble, it has picked a flower and is about to charge it. Once it commits, it may stomp through that whole bed. Just standing near a unicorn pushes it away a little.
Coins buy four tools, and each one works where the leprechaun is standing. Noise sends out a ring that scares unicorns off. Repel drops a clover field they walk around for 12 seconds. Attract places a gem that pulls them toward it for 10 seconds. Water makes nearby flowers grow faster for that season.
Each season brings more unicorns than the last. Fill the rainbow meter to win. Lose 15 of the 21 flowers in one season and the run ends.

Tips and Strategies
- Watch for the thought bubble. It is your warning. Move between that unicorn and its target before it starts walking.
- Chain one color. Harvesting the same color twice in a row doubles the reward, and a third in a row triples it. Plan your route through matching blooms.
- Do not hoard blooms. A ripe flower is just what a unicorn is looking for. Pick it as soon as it opens unless you are lining up a color chain.
- Park near the busiest bed. Your body nudges unicorns aside for free, so standing in the middle of a bed helps guard it without spending coins.
- Use Attract to pull a crowd. One gem placed away from the flowers can draw several unicorns off a bed at once.
