Number Path is a one-line drawing puzzle on a small square grid. A few squares hold numbered dots, and you must draw a single line that starts on 1, passes each number in order and ends on the highest one. The catch is that the line has to visit every square on the board exactly once. It comes from Tejas Wavde’s open-source collection of browser puzzles, and every board is generated in your browser around a real solution, so a full path always exists.
How to Play Number Path
Start on the green dot marked 1. Drag through neighboring squares to lay down your line, moving up, down, left or right, never diagonally. You can also tap squares one by one, and each tap adds the next square to the end of the line.
You must reach the numbers in their exact order. A move that skips ahead to a later number, jumps to a square that is not next to the end of your line, or crosses a wall is refused, and that square gives a small red shake. On medium and hard boards, walls appear as thick bars along some edges.
The puzzle is solved when the line has filled every square and finishes on the red dot with the last number. A “Solved in” message shows your time. Easy is a 5×5 grid with 4 numbers, medium is 6×6 with 5 numbers and 3 walls, and hard is 7×7 with 6 numbers and 5 walls.

Tips and Strategies
- Look at the corners first. A corner square has only two neighbors, so the line usually has to enter on one side and leave on the other.
- Avoid sealing off pockets. If your line cuts off a group of empty squares, you will not be able to come back for them. Check before each turn.
- Read the walls as hints. A walled edge removes an option, which often forces the route through the squares around it.
- Work backward from the last number. The red dot is where the line ends, so plan how the final few squares lead into it.
- Use tap to fix mistakes. Tapping a square already on the line cuts it back to that point without clearing everything.
Features
- Three sizes: 5×5, 6×6 and 7×7 boards, with walls on the larger two.
- Daily boards: each size starts with a puzzle tied to the date, and “new” rolls a random one.
- Best times: your fastest solve for each size is saved in your browser.
- Drag or tap: draw the whole line in one stroke or build it square by square.
