Tank Ricochet is a top-down tank battle set in a small 3D arena full of stone walls and wooden crates. You command the blue tank on the left side, and enemy tanks wait on the right. The twist is the shell itself: it can glance off stone once, so the smartest shots often hit a wall before they hit a tank. A red aiming line shows where your next shot will go. Frank Force built the game with the LittleJS engine.

How to Play Tank Ricochet

Each wave drops you into one of four arena layouts with a few enemy tanks. Destroy all of them to clear the wave and earn a bonus of 100 points times the wave number. The next wave starts with a new layout and more opponents, up to eight at once.

Your tank turns its hull toward the direction you press and rolls forward once it lines up, while the turret swings separately to follow your aim. You can keep up to four shells in flight. Shells that meet in the air cancel each other out, so you can shoot down an incoming round.

Enemies come in four kinds. Sentries never move, scouts keep their distance, hunters show up from wave 3 and fire faster, and heavy tanks from wave 5 need three hits. Mines appear from wave 2 and explosive barrels from wave 3. Driving over a mine or shooting either hazard sets off a blast that damages every tank nearby, yours included, and can set off other hazards in a chain. You lose a life each time you are hit, and the run ends when none are left.

Strategy Notes

  • Use the aiming line. It shows the path to the first thing your shell would touch, so check it before you bank a shot.
  • Shoot from behind cover. Park next to a stone block and bounce shells around its corner while enemy fire hits the stone.
  • Detonate hazards on purpose. A shell into a barrel or mine next to a group of enemies can clear several at once.
  • Keep away from your own rebounds. Firing point-blank into a wall sends the shell straight back at you.
  • Take down sentries early. They cannot move, so they are free points while scouts are still closing in.
  • Clear crates you do not need. Breaking them opens new firing lanes, but leave the ones that shield you.

Features

  • Four rotating arena layouts built from stone walls and breakable crates.
  • Four enemy tank types with different speed, range and toughness.
  • Mines and explosive barrels that hurt any tank caught in the blast.
  • Options menu with shadows, glow and screen shake toggles, plus a saved best score.

Tank Ricochet Unblocked: FAQ

Can my own shell destroy my tank?

Yes. A shell cannot hurt the tank that fired it until it has bounced once, but after that it hits anything it touches, including you. Shots fired straight into a nearby wall are the usual way to lose a life by accident.

How many times does a shell bounce?

Once. A shell glances off a stone wall or the arena edge a single time and is gone the next time it hits stone. Crates and barrels stop it right away.

How do I earn extra lives in Tank Ricochet?

You start with three. Clearing every third wave adds one more, up to a maximum of five.

Is there a phone version?

The same page works on touchscreens. Two sticks appear at the bottom corners, the left one drives and the right one aims and fires. Turn your phone sideways, since the game is built for a wide screen.
