Red Rock Descent is a 3D downhill road race down a coastal mountain. You start at the top of a 5.6 km stage with 468 meters of drop and three computer cars beside you. Get to the bottom first. It is drawn like a comic book, with thick black outlines and flat bands of color. Every car, tree, sound and letter is built by code when the page loads.
How to Play Red Rock Descent
The title screen shows the stage length, the total drop and the course seed. Press Enter to begin. The cars hold on the line through a short countdown, then the race is on.
Reach the finish ahead of the other three cars. The road winds past forests, wind turbines, the sea and cheering fans, and it has ramps that throw your car into the air. The card at the top left plots your spot on the elevation profile, and the strip below it shows where the rivals are. A badge gives your place, and a dial shows speed in km/h.
At the finish, the field brakes to a stop and a results card lists every driver with times and gaps. If things go wrong mid-race, the pause menu lets you resume, restart or go back to the title.

Racing Tips
- Brake before the bend, not in it. The car’s weight shifts forward under braking, so slow down on the straight and let off as you turn in.
- Use the gap chip. The number under the timer shows how many seconds you trail the next car. Watch it shrink to see if your lines are working.
- Save the handbrake for tight corners. A quick tap of Space swings the rear around, but holding it too long scrubs off speed you need on the next straight.
- Stay on the tarmac. The tires lose about a quarter of their grip on the loose edge, so a wide line costs you the next corner too.
- Stay calm in last place. The race starts with you behind the pack, so pass cars one at a time over the full 5.6 km instead of forcing it early.
